Information for Candidates

Filing Nomination Papers - Clerks Office Encourages Those Interested in Running as a Candidate to Arrange a Time and Date to File

The Clerks Office encourages those interested in running as a candidate in the 2018 Municipal Election to arrange for a time and date to file papers. This ensures that the Returning Officer or Deputy Returning Officer are available.  As Council continues as usual, the Returning Officer and Deputy Returning Officers may be in Council or Committee meetings or may be attending offsite meetings. Arranging a time will ensure that you are given full attention and confirm that staff are available. Thank you!

To arrange times, please email election@southgate.ca or 519-923-2110 ext. 230
