Reminder Regarding November 2024 Canada Post Job Action
The Township of Southgate wishes to remind residents of the following, in light of the recent job action involving workers at Canada Post:
All due dates for payments (such as water bills) remain in-place, and the inability to utilize postal services during this time is not a valid reason for missed payments.
If you use Canada Post for receiving your bills and/or making your payments, please consider the following:
To receive bills:
- Sign-up for e-billing by emailing info@southgate.ca. Please provide your full name and civic address.
To make your payments, please consider paying via the following:
- Online, via online banking (preferred)
- Credit card, using Paymentus (2.4% fee charged)
- At your financial institution
- At the Township Office (in-person or dropbox)
- Sending a cheque via Purolator
