2026 Recreation Capital & Planning Projects

The Township of Southgate invites residents to attend an upcoming Recreation Open House to learn more about the 2026 Recreation Capital & Planning Projects. This open house will provide an opportunity to review future recreation planning priorities, proposed capital projects, community recreation needs, and survey results that will help shape recreation services and facilities in Southgate.

Discussion topics will include: recreation capital priorities for 2026, parks and facilities, future planning initiatives, and long-term recreation priorities identified through community feedback. Project highlights include items such as sports field complex study and grading/access work, community centre auditorium sport flooring, Glenelg playground and park development, and Flato Parks development.
