Canada Post Strike: How It May Impact Municipal Services

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a national strike on September 25, 2025. Canada Post's operation's will be shut down during a national strike. 

This Canada Post strike will impact the timely delivery of important municipal documents, including property tax bills, water and wastewater bills, invoices, and public notices.

To avoid delays or penalties and guarantee continuous access to this information, the Township strongly recommends using the following alternative options:

• Enroll in our pre-authorized payment plan
• Make your payments online

Important: The account holder is responsible for ensuring all payments are made by their respective due dates, regardless of any mail service disruptions.
