Crossing Guard Return Update

Please be advised of the crossing guard that was temporarily relocated will be returning to their original position of Main Street West and Young Street on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Please avoid the area between Dundalk Street and Proton Street as construction will be ongoing.

We are asking pedestrians to use Dundalk Street via Holland Street South to access the guarded crossover. If pedestrians are approaching Proton Street from Main Street East, please utilize the crosswalk to continue onto Victoria Street West.

The Township of Southgate thanks you for your cooperation as construction progresses and keeping our community safe.
