Canada Day Curb Collection Delay & Egremont Transfer Station Holiday Closure Reminder:

Due to the Canada Day holiday on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, curbside collection in Southgate will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the collection week. Please note: Egremont Transfer Station will also be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Operation will resume on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Please have your carts to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your revised collection day.

Revised collection schedule:

Monday collection → No Change
Tuesday collection → No Change
Wednesday collection → Thursday
Thursday collection → Friday
