Intersection of Ida Street and Main Street
*Mid-September projection of North/South traffic re-opening of Main Street*
- Sidewalk preparation and construction ongoing for next week (August 31- September 4)
- Topsoil, seed, and road paint to follow
- Intersection of Main Street and Ida Street will remain CLOSED for the Contractor to safely complete their work
Main Street (Ida Street to McAuley Street)
*November projection of full re-opening of Main Street*
- Sidewalk preparation and construction ongoing for next week (August 31- September 4)
- Complete curb and driveway paving at school entrance(s) next week (August 31- September 4)
- Topsoil and sod to follow
- Main Street between Ida and McAuley will remain CLOSED for the Contractor to safely complete their work
- Access is available to local residents and Highpoint Community School
Main Street (McAuley Street to Proton Street)
*November projection of full re-opening of Main Street*
- Excavation operations for watermain and storm sewer servicing ongoing
- Main Street between McAuley and Proton is CLOSED with access only provided to local residents/businesses.
- Individual driveway access may be temporarily impacted as excavation operations progress.
Osprey Street
*Mid-October projection of full re-opening of Osprey Street*
- New watermain commissioning (testing) ongoing on Osprey Street North
- Osprey Street South water service connections planned for next week (August 31- September 4)
- Excavation operations for watermain, storm sewers and sanitary servicing is complete
- Hydro One scheduled to relocate select hydro poles on Osprey Street North mid-September
- Osprey Street between Victoria Street East and Owen Sound Street is CLOSED with access only provided to local residents/businesses
- Intersection of Main Street and Osprey Street will remain CLOSED
