Half-Load Restrictions Lifted May 4, 2026

Please note that half-load restrictions in the Township of Southgate will be lifted effective Monday, May 4, 2026.

As of this date, reduced load restrictions will no longer apply to Township of Southgate roads.

The Township thanks residents, businesses, and commercial drivers for their cooperation during half-load season. These seasonal restrictions help protect municipal roads during the spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur.
