Inclement Weather & Township Operations

At the February 4, 2026 Council meeting, CAO Jim Ellis presented a staff report outlining how Township facilities and services operate during inclement weather, including potential closures, work-from-home options, winter road maintenance, waste collection impacts and the use of warming centres. This information is shared for public awareness during severe weather events.
