Today, April 28th 2026, marks National Day of Mourning, we pause to remember workers who have been killed, injured, or made ill because of their work.

The Township of Southgate honours their memory and recognizes the importance of health and safety in every workplace. We also reaffirm our shared commitment to creating safer environments for all workers, today and every day.
