Financial Forecasting Survey

We want to hear from you! 

The Township of Southgate is currently working on the budget for the year 2026 and we'd like to know more about the priorities and preferences of you our residents, and this survey is your opportunity to have a say!

This survey focuses on services funded through your local municipal taxes (i.e., does not include federal, provincial or education taxes). 

By taking part in this survey, you’ll help us understand how well municipal services are understood overall, how they are valued, and which ones are a priority for the people who live here. 

There’s also plenty of opportunities to provide comments, so take a few minutes and tell us what you think. 

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete depending on your answers. Feedback from the survey will be shared with Township of Southgate Council, but no personal or identifying information will be collected nor shared.

Road Closure

Water Shuttle Accreditation Test

September 22, 2025

Please be advised that Ida Street and Southgate Road 75 will be CLOSED between Main Street West and Southgate Road 26 on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Through traffic will not be permitted during this time. There will be an increase in Emergency Vehicle traffic during this time while the Dundalk Fire Department completes its Water Shuttle Accreditation Test. Local access will be maintained for residents of the street.
