Township of Southgate - Holiday Closures and Waste Collection Changes

The Township of Southgate Administrative Office will be CLOSED from noon on December 24, 2025 until January 5, 2026 at 8:30AM.
The Southgate Public Library will be closed from December 24, 2025 until January 1, 2026. The library will reopen on January 2, 2026.
There will be scheduled changes in curbside collection for the weeks of December 21, 2025 and December 28, 2025. The following changes will be in effect:
Week of December 21, 2025
Zone 1 and Zone 2: Monday December 22, 2025
Zone 3: Tuesday December 23, 2025
Zone 4: Wednesday December 24, 2025
Week of December 28, 2025
Zone 1: Monday December 29, 2025
Zone 2: Tuesday December 30, 2025
Zone 3: Wednesday December 31, 2025
Zone 4: Friday, January 2, 2026

Due to weather conditions on Monday, December 29, 2025, some waste and compost cart collections in Zone 1 were disrupted. If your cart was not collected as scheduled, please place it out for collection on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
